● Tell me about yourself.   제일 많이 나오는 질문으로 2∼3분 정도가 좋다.  성장 배경, educa- tion, professional experience(if any) 들을 간단하게 설명하면서 응시한 position에 필요한 능력/배경들과 연결시킨다.   예) that background leads me to apply for this position.    ● What are your strengths and weaknesses?   Strengths는 4∼5개 정도 지식이나 경험, personality, motivation, 지적인 면 등을 고루 얘기할 것.   예) “I am sincere, positive, bright. That’s all.”  이렇게 간단하게 얘기하는 사람을 가끔 보는데 좋은 답변이라고 할 수 없다.   “I learn very fast....”“I have good computer skill...”    “I don’t discourage easily ...”“I am a self-starter...” 등으로 구체적으로 얘기할 것.   Weakness는 치명적인 것(예를 들어 지각을 잘 한다든지 우유부단해서 결정을 잘못 내린다든지)은 피하는 게 좋다.  활발한 성격을 장점으로 부 각했다면 “I tend to look at problems from a big-picture point and sometimes don’t pay attention to the details. I am trying to improve my weak point ..... ”   (이럴 경우 계속해서 Give me an example of a problem you solved and   the process you used? 와 같은 질문이 나올 수도 있으니 준비할 것.)   ● Why are you interested in our organization?     What can you con- tribute to this company?     What motivates you to apply for this position?     What type of position are you seeking?      What challenges are you looking for in a position? What goals have you set for yourself     (or What is your 5-year career plan?)   지원한 회사/직종/동기, career plan에 대한 답변은 솔직하고 간결하게 할 것.  특히 career plan에 대해 답할 때 최근의 창업 열풍에 자극을 받아 “1∼2년 회사에서 열심히 배운 후 창업을 하려고 한다”라고 답한 다면 위험. 1∼2년 후 확실한 미래가 보장되는 것도 아닌데, 굳이 이런 답변은 피하는 게 좋다.   ● Would you please tell me about yourself?     (자기소개를 해주십시오.)   ● What's your strength or weakness?     (당신의 강점과 약점은 무엇입니까?)  ● What do you think of your English?     (자신의 영어실력은 어느 정도라고 생각합니다?  ● How did you come here?     (무엇을 타고 오셨습니다?)  ● What is your major subject?     (대학에서는 무엇을 전공하였습니까?)  ● What courses did you like best in your school?     (어떤 과목을 가장 좋아했습니까?)  ● What's your favorite hobby?     (당신이 좋아하는 취미는 무엇입니까?)  ● How do you spend your free time?     (여가시간은 어떻게 보내나요?)  ● Why did you apply to our company?     (왜 우리회사를 지원하셨습니까?)  ● Please tell me about your part-time job & present company.     (파트타임이나 현재 근무하는 회사에 대해 말씀해 주십시오.)  ● What kinds of position would you like to have for this company?     (우리회사에서 어떤 일을 맡고 싶습니까?)  ● How do you feel about working overtime?     (연장근무에 대해서 어떻게 생각하세요?)  ● How much salary do you want to get?     (보수는 어느 정도 받길 원하십니까?)  ● What's the most important things in your life?     (인생에서 가증 중요한 것은 무엇이라고 생각하십니까?)  ● What's your future plan?     (미래 계획은 무엇입니까?)
